Fall Is Coming!
Button Up: Forever 21, Sweater: Forever21, Jeans: H&M, Shoes: Boutique
Yesterday morning when I woke up and looked past the patio outside my window I saw, for the first time since spring, it was overcast. This brings a variety of emotions over me. Happiness, that I can break out some of my coats that have been receiving no attention, sadness, for the coming absence of the sun tickling your bare skin, and confusion, having to actually look at Weather.com every morning before deciding what to wear.
Aside from my regular weather spiel. It is no secret that I have an addiction for shoes. Shoes are one of the main things I’m apt to spend more money on. They aren’t something like a dress you wear once and then put it away in your closet for a year because you know if you repeat it any sooner people will recognize it. Not to mention you wear shoes everyday. However, this still doesn’t mean my wallet is big enough to go about buying all my shoes in brand names. Luckily, there are plenty of comfortable shoes that are sold in boutiques or affordable stores that are stylish.
One thing always on my mind is, “how many times will I wear this?” Yes it doesn’t stop me from buying something I want but I definitely reconsider how much I am willing to spend on it. It makes much more sense to splurge on the black pump Louboutins than on a pair of shoes like the ones above. And no one will ever know they were actually less than $50. It’ll be our little secret. You won’t tell anyone will you?
