American Apparel Chiffon Blouse
I’ve been wanting this button up chiffon top from American Apparel for far too long. I could just never muster up the reasoning to pay $58 for it. However, a couple weeks ago I came across a GroupOn that was $25 for $50 worth of American Apparel attire. Perfect! I bought it without hesitating. I went to the store to pick up my well deserved button up having paid 58 – 25 = 33 for it. Not including taxes of course. Happy as a school girl I went home and pulled it out of the bag to realize it wasn’t quite the color I had wanted. Reluctant but determined to get what I want I put it in my bag to exchange.
Long story short. I went back to the store for my coral top and they had to order it in from another mall. I waited about a week for them to call me before getting impatient and calling them myself. They said they didn’t have my order but they were stocked on the shirt and I went in. The girl at the register was sweet enough to tell me that if I checked in I would get 20% off. WOO!
x/58 = 20/100
x= 11.6
58 – 25 – 11.6 = 21.4
$21.40
Yes I can, in fact, do basic math. Baha, somehow I paid 21.40, yes again, not including tax, for a $58 top. Best day ever! My patience, or lack thereof, paid off. I went for a return and left not only with my shirt but also a nice little gift card for next time. (If one of you receive a $12.withsomeoddcents gift card from me for Christmas and you can’t figure out why, I’ll know it’s cause you don’t read my blog) And so you all know, American Apparel is having their 20% off if you check in Facebook sale through December and into January. And if you go let me know, cause I like to shop.
