But You’re Still Young and Out of Line
Dress: Cotton On, Shoes: Boutique, Belt: H&M,
I’m not usually one to match my shoes to my belt, and my belt to my hair clip, and “make sure there is a bit of blue in your skirt to match the blue top you’re wearing!” I think not matching these things, in fact, gives you a more interesting look that sets you apart from others since so many are so concerned with these so-called rules.
However, despite my mini-rant, I guess I chose to match my shoes to my belt yesterday, (there is an exception to every rule, wait change that: there are no rules) and I love the look. Maybe I feel like a rebel because the dress has a slight purple tint and you don’t often see red and purple holding hands skipping down the street.
I love this dress because it has longer sleeves, when I go out on colder nights I always want to show leg but am worried about being cold.. then you don’t want to bring a jacket ’cause you’ll lose it or get too hot yada yada’. I’m always on the look out for more ‘sleeved’ dresses.
