Friday Nights

Same Mary Janes as earlier this week, completely different outfit. (And yes, Sophie doesn’t change her sweater nearly as often as I do.) I consider this a nighttime outfit, I figure if you walk down the street in sequin shorts during the daytime it might look a little out of place.

I’m sure you have seen all of these pieces show up on the blog before in a different way. As I haven’t been shopping lately (for the most part) it has been a lot of fun reinventing my closet. I had a purple blouse on the other day and I was trying on a bunch of other tops over it because I was too cold to take it off, and I kept saying, “Oh this actually looks pretty cute together; oh this too!” My sister’s response was, “Are you just going to wear that blouse under everything now?” I’ll have to show you some of the combinations I came up with later. Do you ever end up pairing two things together that you never would have? Sometimes I have trouble visualizing these kinds of things.
