I keep stealing my sister’s sweatshirt blazer. Thanks Eda! Why it is that I can’t find another perfect one anywhere is beyond me. I got this Henri Bendel bag last year. I was debating for a while whether I wanted to spend the money on it. Someone told me, “If you buy the bag, then you will feel guilty about spending the money and stop shopping therefore ultimately saving yourself money.” Awful logic, I’m aware, but it worked because I ended up with the bag.

There is one dilemma I face when purchasing high end bags though: the weight of the hardware. Let me explain. I love picking up a bag in a store and feeling the weight of the hardware, usually the heavier the chains and buckles are the nicer it feels and looks. However, once you actually start piling your belongings in to the bag it becomes far heavier than it should be, making it difficult to carry around. I guess the best solution to be to find pieces that don’t have as many embellishments. Eh I guess either way I’ll buy the bags I love to look at. Like this one, just consider it a workout.
