Heels = Confidence
I have so many pairs of heels but because I usually work nights when things are going on I don’t get to break them out as often as I would like. I feel like a lot of women don’t wear heels to particular events just because they don’t want to be over dressed or they know they will be on their feet for an extended period of time. Thought these seem like reasonable excuses I think we need to let them go.
It is so important to invest in shoes that are comfortable, I wore this outfit out to a date with my mom and sister, and though they were both in flats, I ignored the fact that I was taller than both of them; I felt confident. Now, I’m not saying your should wear your strappy prom heels to the movies, but if you can find something that makes you feel beautiful, changes your posture, and that you’re not clomping around in.. (you know what I’m talking about: when girls walk by picking up and putting their feet straight down like a horse, or like they’re in major pain) then I can safely say you will turn a couple heads.
Disclaimer: There will always be a few people that think fashion is stupid and they would rather be the smart ones sauntering around in their jeans and sweatshirt. They might look at you with a sideways glance, but we don’t have to let them know that they are in fact missing out.

Haha, yea, I owned a pair of strappy black heels that I wore to every formal in high school too. They are long gone now though, luckily..
