Maintaining a Silhouette

I’ve never really thought beanies looked all that great on me, but I guess I’ve been outgrowing that because I’ve been wearing this one quite a bit this season.

 I always have trouble with dresses with jackets over them. If you wear a dress that is cinched at the waist or the chest, it looks awkward when you wear a jackets that crops that the hips with it. It loses it’s silhouette and you end up looking like a box. I end up sticking to jackets like this one or peacoats that have a similar shape, i.e. lengthier but have a belt or a seam at the waist line. They allow you to show the hourglass figure that defines a woman’s body while keeping you warm.
