Maxi Dresses: Do or Don’t?
I’ve said it before, I don’t know how I feel about maxi dresses. They are just too much fabric hanging with very little shape. But that’s just me, I know some people love them, I just can’t bring myself to. I got this paisley one last year to try to break my usual distaste for them. It is one of the cuter ones I’ve seen, except for the fact that it is lined so it is heavier and slightly more shapeless. The verdict? I don’t know; sometimes I felt pretty, sometimes I felt frumpy. I just can’t decide. I do love the cheetah print maxi dress I have though. Also I’d love to get a lightweight one and tie a knot in the bottom to add interest. Bottom line, is this a style I’ll need more experience with? Definitely. Let me know what you think by voting for it on LookBook.nu
By the way I love wearing my bunny ring with this sea foam green flower. To me it looks like the little guy’s eating a cabbage.
Everyone wish my beautiful sister, Eda, a Happy Birthday today!

I feel the same way about them– I generally do not like them. I think this one is pretty though but I can’t help but think it would look better as a shorter dress… Im just always reminded of the moo-moo style dresses my high school teachers used to wear when I see them, haha. But for as much as I dislike maxis, you look cute regardless!

The dress feels a bit heavy but I love the rings.
The top is cute, I wonder what it would look like with a mid-length skirt.
Happy Birthday to Eda!

Thanks for the feedback guys! Sometimes the longer dresses make me feel like taking a really long nap. It probably would look a lot cuter if it was shorter. I just wish there was a nice medium.
