Moccasins of Gold

We went to the Turkish Festival in Monterey yesterday to help the Rotary Club raise money by making personalized rice necklaces. I got to make one, you can see it hanging on my wrist. It was really fun to see all the people that were so passionate about their culture.
The boho-chic style has been around for quite some time now, I think it adds something interesting to pair it up with more modern pieces; i.e. skinny jeans or the gold moccasins. The feather in my hair I got at a stand at the Gay Pride Festival when I went with my friends a few weeks ago. I’ve seen these as earrings but they terrify me a little bit since there is so much room to grab and yank. Ouch! This one is perfect for me.
