Rodarte Skeleton Costume
In the spirit of Halloween I donned my Rodarte skeleton dress with my, drumroll…. LITAS woohoo! I guess that wasn’t much of a surprise since I posted the pictures first. I actually caved and wore the Litas to work, even though I said I was afraid they would start to hurt, with a backup pair of flats just incase. However, they were actually really comfortable and I fared well all night. I also got told they look like witch shoes :-p. I guess they could kind of look like witch shoes if you didn’t know…
I took these pictures before I did my make up. I posted a picture of what it looked like yesterday, if you are a fan, on Facebook. Which by the way is important because I post more candid things on there that you don’t always get to see on the blog. Anyway, I’ll repost it below so you can see. I thought it turned out pretty cool; I’m not a makeup artist at all but I love the juxtaposition of the dead vs the alive
ps Sophie is Sophie The Explorer so she ran into the woods, yet again, and got burrs all over her, so I had to cut them out. She’s a little embarrassed by her haircut.
pps I love this dress and by no means do I think it’s JUST a costume, I just wanted to find a good medium between fashion and costume for the purpose.
