Taupe OTK Boots

I finally found them! My perfect flat over the knee taupe boots, and I’ve been wearing them almost every day. I’ll be honest I’ve never shopped at Baker’s before but when I saw these in the window I did one of those stumble-over-yourself spinny things that you do when you realize either
      A: you forgot something, or
      B: it is as far as you’re walking on your walk, but since the path you’re on doesn’t make a loop you have to just pivot at some point to start walking back. (Of course this should be done in a nonchalant  manner; like you are pretending you just got an important text message and you have to stare intently at your blank phone until people pass you by and the new people walking by you don’t know which way you were walking to begin with.) Or in my case
      C: you see the perfect shoes in the window and have to make sure they are in your budget range and then try them on, in that order.
And yes, at $100 after sale prices they were definitely in my budget range. I’m sorry if you get sick of these boots before I do.

ps. I figured out how to wear these beanies that hang off your head without a million awkward bobby pins that take forever to fix and never feel quite secure enough. Use a thin headband. I was in a rush this time and used a yellow one which you can see in some of the pictures but if you use a black one it will blend into your hair and give a great look.
