The Fossiliologist

Yes, yes, another Hi-Lo skirt, or as I’ve also been hearing them called, mullet skirts. Huh, I think mullet sounds far too gross to describe this style. Yes, I have an addiction, but I can’t help myself, the way this style moves when you walk awes me.  

I got this coin necklace at Target, needless to say it is fake, but I have always, as I’ve said before, had affinity for cultural artifact, as a kid I always wanted to grow up to be a relic hunter, or when I was really young, a “fossiliologist” probably better known to you as an archaeologist. I guess that didn’t quite come true though the knack for historical items has never left me. (Although who knows what the future holds, maybe I will make a drastic career change….) I’m expecting my mother, who is currently in Europe, to bring me lots of cool little artifacts that she has picked up on her endeavors so I can make my own authentic accessories with them.
