The Hundred Dresses

I read a book when I was younger called The Hundred Dresses about a poor girl who wore the same drab blue dress to school but claimed to have 100 beautiful dresses in her closet at home. All the kids in the class believed she was lying and teased her about it until she one day entered a contest where she submitted 100 unique designs of dresses proving her claims to be true. Unfortunately because of the bullying at school her family had moved her away and her classmates never had the opportunity to apologize to her.

I now pretty much live in dresses during summertime. Since shorts are most likely not appropriate for your workplace, they allow you to get away with a shorter length that helps maintain cooler body temperatures. This is one of the dresses I keep going back to. I love the studs on the collar and the sheer  layer on top. I may not have a hundred dresses but I’m working on it!
