The Smell of a Good Ole’ Book
I mentioned last week I’ve been going to the library a bit. It has been pretty fun checking out books again. I used to go when I was little and check out the maximum amount of Boxcar Children and Sweet Valley Twins books that I could. I was quite the little book worm. Although the Kindle app has won me over a bit, (I like the idea of not having to get out of bed to turn the lights off after I get tired of reading at night) there is nothing like the smell of the pages of a good book.
I love this skirt, it is so well made and very appropriate for so many different occasions. I wore it to a meeting a few weeks ago, and got multiple compliments on it. I got extremely lucky when buying this little number also. (You know I love stories like this.) It was hanging there illuminated by glowing lights and little cherubs singing, you know the tune, it goes: “Ahhhh” and I would have bought it right then and there, full price, if they had it in my size :-/ . I moved on and a few weeks later found it not only half off on the sale rack, but in my size!
Awesome.
