A Modern Day Cinderella

Cinderella
I remember in my days of dance, begging my teacher for a tutu every year. Finally she caved, thank goodness because what a wonderful outfit it made for. We all played dress-up at one point in our lives, dreaming that we could embody the people whose clothes we wore. Whether it was a fairy living in a dense forest, or our mothers with a perfect string of pearls around our neck and oversized heels on our feet.
It’s still fun to dress up. Only this time, you can wear the outfit out and take on the persona for the day, even if it is as simple as confidence. I love how this outfit makes me feel. Like a princess, but not so much a damsel in distress; thanks to the blazer, which in this story portrays a woman who can fend for herself, and still remain glamourous. And possibly, when I slip into my pajamas at the end of the day, a glimmer of this woman will remain.
So, who will you become today?

Where is the skirt from? It’s so interesting, with the two tone and the subtle opacity. Great legs!
