Fairy Dress

I remember when I was little BEGGING my aunt to make me a dress that was light pink with a flowy skirt that started at the waist. I think I thought of it as a fairy dress for all my epic adventures that started and ended in my backyard. Last year I found that skirt; it was lit up with its own glow and I think I remember angels singing also…. It is unfortunate that as an adult I have to hinder my imagination from running too wild; however, had I found this dress 15 years ago you can bet I’d be wearing it with a pair of wings to accompany it.

Instead, I chose to don my favorite black peacoat. I have plenty of peacoats in the closet, (I’m sure you all will be acquainted with them soon enough) but I just love the length of this one. It looks perfect paired over a dress with just a couple inches on the bottom peeking out.
