No Ordinary Monday
Top: H&M, Skirt: Cotton On, Shoes: Michael Antonio
It’s funny because I think back to the time where I would wear low-rise skirts and shudder. Why was that the moda? And it wasn’t even that long ago. Of course, the day will come when trends call for that style and I will pull those skirts out yet again, but for now it makes no sense to me. High waisted skirts hug your body where it naturally goes in, creating the curves you want, hiding any you may not. Their versatility is endless, I have tucked tops in, let some hang out, made them formal or casual to my liking and where I am going.
I must also say I am so lucky to have an amazing group of photographers. I spent the day with Maki, she is so sweet and funny, not to mention the photos she took are incredible. Isn’t this garden lovely? I’d like to go there with my book sometime.
ps. I just started reading The Hunger Games, really easy to read but very hard to put down. I must have a pull toward dystopian storylines. All my favorite books include them.
