One (Dress) Syndrome
Not only is mint a color that is everywhere this season but also I was desperately looking for a dress with sleeves that hang off the shoulders, so I guess with this dress I hit the jackpot. I’ve already worn it three or four times. -I like to call this one (dress) syndrome. For some reason whenever you buy something new, it feels like it’s the only piece in your closet. It matches everything and anything in your closet. I always end up wearing it to any event where I haven’t already seen the people there. i.e. School, Work, Dinner, etc. Then you end up having to retire it for a while until people forget about it; because, of course, every one remembers what you wore last time you saw them… just kidding. But you can never be sure who has the memory of an elephant.
Anyway, every opportunity I had to wear this, other than the day we actually took these photos I ended up wearing it with a belt which I like better. So just imagine a brown belt over the waistline when you look at it.

Great dress! I definitely get “one dress syndrome” as well, but I find it helps keep me from shopping too much. If it’s not something I want to wear over and over again immediately, I won’t buy it.

Thank you so much Ada! Emily that’s such a good point, unfortunately it doesn’t stop me from buying a lot of things I’ll wear a lot of times. haha
