The LBD
Yes we all know, no closet is complete with out a LBD or little black dress, but really it’s the word “a” that gets me. Why would you ever stop at just one? I mean really, you can’t wear the same LBD to a nightclub that you can to a garden party. Or I suppose you could, but why would you want to?
I got this dress for a runway show that I helped produce last year. The rule was we could only wear black and we couldn’t have ever worn it before. Ok, that wasn’t really the rule, it just had to be black, but I found it the perfect opportunity to hone in on this Lauren Conrad dress that I saw at Kohl’s. I love that it is so girlish yet refined. (I feel like I’ve described something else the same way.) Paired with my favorite nude Mary Janes it is the ultimate ensemble for a classy event. I didn’t even end up wearing much jewelry with it since it is such a fantastic base canvas.

I totally agree to what you said… One LBD is not enough… To be honest I think more than half of my closet are LBDs! Ha ha… I’m that lazy on styling my outfit but just FYI I trying to change that, little by little, I’m experimenting and studying it too.
