Chunky Scarves
As the weather starts getting colder, naturally I start spending more time indoors. The other day after spending some time at the mall (and purchasing nothing, by the way) I got to hang out with a couple of my friends just talking over some warm drinks at home. Such a great time to catch up, but of course in these times you don’t want to be overly dressed up. It becomes more about comfort and what’s more comfortable than a flannel, leggings and a chunky knit scarf your momma made you? Nothing. That is why that is exactly what I wore.
I absolutely love this scarf my mom knit for me. And I realize you can’t really tell in the picture, but this is no ordinary knit one purl one scarf. It has all sorts of unique, knit one purl six-like things that I couldn’t really name because I’ve had too few knitting lessons in my life. It is inspired by the red Chanel scarf that Carrie Bradshaw wears in the original Sex and the City Movie. I want more!! Blue, black, rose, perhaps teal?
A secret: no one has to know that liquid leggings are just as comfortable as normal leggings. You wear them, and make it look like you’re a million bucks and you’re putting in all the effort in the world while feeling like you’re still in your pajamas.
