Denim on Denim

Mixing denims can be a tricky thing. In a lot of ways it can look surprisingly awesome, but with it comes many ways that the look can go wrong. One of the easiest ways to perfect the look it to wear two completely different shades. In this case acid wash and classic blue worked for me. (I figure a standard blue is the original color most people would buy.) With the bag, boots and infinity scarf, this is  an industrial, or urban look that I was happy to try when we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Unfortunately, it is always the case that my camera is dead when I need it so no pictures of us with the fish.

ps. Safety note: They keep their aquarium glasses incredibly clean so be careful when trying to see the fish up close. I definitely miscalculated where the glass was more than once.
