In The Ring: Chambray vs Denim

I’ve spoken of wearing braletts under chambray tops and this is my favorite way to wear it. 

Many people are under the misconception that chambray is a denim but in actuality it is has a different weave that distinguishes one from the other. Take a look at your jeans, they have a twill weave which gives them their defining diagonal appearance. Chambray, on the other hand, just has a basic over-under weave with the waft a different color than the wale, (the vertical threads and a different color than the horizontal) that gives it a square but denim look since our long-time friend denim has a similar dyeing method.

So if you were going to accuse me of denim on denim (which actually is in style at the moment) then TAKE THAT! :)
