Jason Wu for Target

Jason Wu was released on Sunday; anyone who has been paying attention to the hype of designer collaborations knows that their popularity has skyrocketed in the past few years. It used to be, that you could go in to Target weeks after the release of these collaborations and still choose from multiple sizes of each size. I remember collections like Anna Sui’s for Gossip Girl,  Zac Posen and Alexander McQueen hung on the racks for weeks and no one really paid much attention nor coveted the pieces. The case is different for people who truly love these designers (and can’t afford the actual pieces on a daily basis) and want to own a piece for their own wardrobe.

I picked up multiple pieces at the release; you will see the rest slowly. The one piece I wasn’t able to get  my hands on, that I wanted most, was the cat scarf. Guess I will have to wait a few months and find it on Ebay down the line.
