Leg O’ Mutton Sleeves
I just got back from spending some quality time with my mama at the library, which is ideal when it is drizzling outside like it is now. I get an awesome feeling from curling up with a book in a warm and cozy spot and watching the wind blow by outside. However, this outfit is from a warmer day.
I first learned the term “Leg O’ Mutton” in my Ready to Wear class last year. Ironically the stylish sleeves happened to be coming in to style at that time so I was able to pick up a couple tops and experiment with the trend myself. It definitely is a feminine silhouette and with the floral pattern on it, who could resist? Only down fall is that it is a little short in the torso area. I am thoroughly looking forward to longer hemmed tops. It still looks perfect with a high waisted skirt though.
