Shift Dress

Along with the popular retro vibe that is so on trend this season are shift dresses. They give a retro vibe and are incredibly easy to wear without giving up your style for the day. They are streamline and hang away from your body. And we all know that the more something hangs loose from your body, the tinier you look in it. Why haven’t we been wearing these all along? I love this Anna Sui dress particularly because it looks like a wall paper out of the 70′s; and it has purple and yellow, go figure. (See yesterday’s post.)

I’ve also made a resolution to wear less pants. It doesn’t make sense to wait till New Year’s to make a change in your life. (Not that this is an intense change.) So I guess more tights and sock variations to keep warm. Jeans are too easy to pull on when it is cold outside. We will see how the outcome turns out.
