Fashion and Comfort

Boyfriend Shorts: H&M, Flats: Steven Madden, Necklace: Vintage, Pearls: Givenchy

There is a large misconception that if you have decided to concentrate on your style you have given up being comfortable. I have memories from when I was young, before I had ever realized how much I loved fashion, I used to think, “I have to wear this top tomorrow, I haven’t worn it… ever.” Then I would wake up in the morning cold, not wanting to get out of bed and just end up slipping into jeans and a good old v-neck.
I am here to tell you guys what no one told me. Outfits that may look more stylish aren’t made out of tin and cardboard. They aren’t scratchy and necklaces don’t weight down on your neck. These garments that you picked out when you were in a more fashionable state of mind are equally as comfortable and can be even warmer or breathe better than your regular old spaghetti-strap. However, if you really aren’t ready to take that big of a step into the deep end, you can always just spice up what you choose to wear with some accessories

Yes this is so true! I have this sweat shirt style top that I wear ALL THE TIME, and all I do is add some booties, a scarf or necklace, and it’s instantly more fashionable. I love this look, and the necklace is gorgeous!
