Blouse: Anthropologie, Shorts: Forever 21, Bracelets: Cotton On

I love this blouse from Anthropologie. At first glance it seems like a regular blouse but if you look at it closely you see the cleverly placed pins in a number of places throughout the shirt. This is one thing about fashion. As fun as it is to dress up in the newer trends and shock people who might not be ready for it, there is a beauty in a basic outfit with details. 

Details, like the pins, can be made for you but what makes an outfit stand out are the ones you put in yourself. One in this outfit was the decision to tuck in only one side of the blouse. I get a satisfaction from being able to take the garment one step further than where the designer left it. Did they predict someone would button the shirt off by one intentionally? Or that someone else would pair a necklace with it that would change it from a formal look to romantic? Probably not, but that is where your creative genius comes in.
