My Green Cape
Have I ever mentioned to you that it never fails me that when I see an item I like, they are no where to be found except for out of my budget range? Last fall Blair Waldorf wore a green cape on Gossip Girl that suck out to me like no other. Thus began my search for capes, I have definitely mentioned this before. I found similar ones at Zara and American Apparel, with slit armholes which were too pricey for something I knew I would only wear once in a while. I also found one at H&M that I love but wasn’t the exact thing I was looking for. You will see it soon, since I bought it anyway. 
Over summer, however, (yes I can prepare ahead buying jackets in July and bathing suits in December,) I found this piece, literally almost IDENTICAL to the one that Miss Waldorf wore last season on Romwe.com. I’ve said that online store allows you to find things you that will get you running for your credit card. Maybe you should just avoid looking, like I’ve been doing.
Because it is so similar to the one from Gossip Girl, I decided to see what I can do to imitate her style on this day. I am pretty pleased with the outcome.
