Red Lipstick

I’ve been experimenting a little with lipsticks lately. I’m kind of loving the look inspired partly by Taylor Swift and partly by trendy cookbooks. It’s hard for me to imagine myself wearing it on a daily basis and usually when I put it on I feel like I like a natural look better. However, there are a lot of  days in the year so why not mix it up on a few of them?

I’m so used to online shopping being a very smooth process. However, several times lately things haven’t gone as planned. I can tell you the long story of my boots one day, that eventually ended with a win, but boy was it stressful. Then there was the case of the missing sweater, and the question of whether the mailman picked up the box that was to be returned to Lord and Taylor or was stolen. This has still yet to be solved, I’m hoping against the latter.

Nonetheless, these pants I ended up with when trying to return a pair of flats that Andrew bought for me from Zara and that I also purchased online. Well, I tried to return the flats that Andrew bought in the store with the receipt from my online purchase, and despite being the same item they wouldn’t do it other than as an exchange (some useful information to keep in mind, I guess the tags are different.) So I switched them out for these light Khaki pants with the stitching over the knees, which were something that I was on my list anyway, so not a complete fail.
