Spiked Epaulettes

I remember being young and always hearing you can’t mix your metals. And to this day people still come up to me and ask, “Should I get this bag? It has gold hardware and my jewelry is mostly silver or platinum.” Honestly, and I’ve said this before, it truly doesn’t matter. I cannot fathom worrying about trying to match all my jewelry every morning. Picking out an outfit without that on my mind is hard enough.

Proof of this lies within jewelry pre-paired at the store with mixes of different colored metals. Rose gold, silver, black, gunmetal, gold, whatever. Sometimes all you’d have without the mix of hardware is a boring old sweatshirt, pants and boots and we couldn’t let that happen could we?
